Juliette Firla started her position as the English teacher in 2020. She received a masters degree in English along with a teacher licensure from Elon University in North Carolina. Her teaching career includes experiences working with high school students in a Title I community, as well as in an all girls school during her time abroad New Zealand. Additionally, she worked at Scholastic, Inc. creating lesson plans that for the company that align with Common Core. In Juliette’s free-time she loves to cook, take long walks around Charlottesville and tutor students struggling with reading and writing.
